<span>The economic dispatch is used to find the best optimal output of power generation at lowest operating cost each generator, fulfill requirements consumer. To get a practical solution, several constraints have be considered, like transmission losses, valve point effect, prohibited region, and emissions. In this research, effect considered which increases complexity problem due its ripple on fuel curve. Economic load problems are well-known optimization problems. Many classical meta-heuristic techniques been better solutions. However, there still room for improvement an solution problem. paper, Improved Flower Pollination Algorithm with dynamic switch probability crossover operator proposed solve these complex The performance our technique analyzed against fast evolutionary programming (FEP), modified (MFEP), improved (IFEP), artificial bee colony algorithm (ABC), particle swarm (MPSO) standard flower pollination (SFPA) using three generator units thirteen thermal units, by including effects loading unit without adding it. has outperformed other methods in terms cost.</span>
